Actor, host, and broadcaster Lawrence Maleka is well-known in South Africa. He originally made headlines as the host of the Mzansi Magic reality program Clash of the Choirs South Africa.

When Maleka took Bonang Matheba’s place in the third season of the program in 2016, he was well-received by the viewers of the show.

Plus, he will be recognized as Zolani by “The River” fans, he will also co-host the upcoming Big Brother Titans, which will have housemates from South Africa and Nigeria.

The city of Soweto, where Lawrence Maleka was born and raised, has always had a special place in his heart.

He was born on April 11th, 1990, and has devoted his entire career to improving the complicated livelihood in Soweto.

The youngest of three brothers, he has a younger and older sibling.

In high school, Lawrence Maleka captained the rugby squad and excelled as a player. Although information about his background is kept private.

It’s interesting to note that Lawrence didn’t study acting or acting classes before beginning to appear on stage or in films.

He imitated a well-known actor in movies to understand how to make an introduction. He self-taught himself how to create a movie script as well. Only a genius can engage in all of these activities, and Lawrence has unequivocally established his genius.

He took a break from acting in 2009 and joined Soweto TV as a presenter for a gadget show after Lerato Kganyago brought him to the auditions.

Following that, he carried on airing additional shows from the same stations, including Radio Street and Ziyamporomo.

As the head of the Lotto Powerball television lottery, he replaced Vizel Makania in May 2015.

Later, he succeeded Vizel Makania as director of the Lotto Powerball Lottery on e.tv in 2015. Additionally, he was given the once in a lifetime chance to succeed Bonang Matheba as director of both Mzansi Magic and Clash of the Choirs South Africa.
