DJ cuppy, real name is Florence Otedola. She was born by Mrs. Nana Otedola, On November 11, 1992. She spent six years of her life in Ilupeju, Lagos, Nigeria, and went to Grange School, Ikeja. She afterward moved to London, where she completed her GCSEs and A-Levels. She received a business and economics degree from King’s College London in 2014.

With much academic effort, she graduated with a master’s in the music business from New York University in 2015. She enrolled at the University of Oxford in October 2021 and she is now working toward a master’s degree in African Studies there.

DJ Cuppy Career:

She began her official musical career in 2013 and quickly rose to tremendous fame. She is now well-known not just in Nigeria but throughout the entire world.

In 2014, Cuppy served as the official DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban. She later performed simultaneously at the Financial Times Luxury Summit in Mexico City and the Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London.

She debuted House of Cuppy in New York on September 2, 2014, after releasing it in London and Lagos in July as her first official collection mix. She created EDM-inspired remixes of songs by prominent Afropop musicians at the time with the House of Cuppy.

Because of her love for humanitarian works, The Cuppy Foundation was introduced by Her in July 2018. The charity hosted the Gold Gala in November 2019 and raised approximately N5 billion for the Save the Children program. Aliko Dangote, a businessman from Nigeria was a major sponsor alongside her father, Femi Otedola.
